Fabulous vets , reception staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble.My cat always vomits on the way and as soon as I get in they take her away and clean her up for meHelen was thorough and explained everything in great detail. Just come home from Southport whilst there found a homing pidgeon that appeared unable to fly but otherwise no apparent injuries it fed from my hand but seagulls where flying oround it we called fresh fields rescue and they recommend we call the above vets a lovely member of staff asked a few questions then agreed we could bring the little bird into them How friendly and caring we found them to be nothing too much trouble, we a donation ( wish it could have been more ) and left our details . In these very difficult times it amazed me how welcoming they are thankyou so much for helping the little bird when not everyone would have you are so lovely bless u all

I have not had dogs for a few years and have changed from the normal breed I have. Village Vets have made the transition very easy with sound advice and being all round friendly and helpful with some minor issues I had at the start and they got us back on the mend quickly. We have slightly differing views on healthcare and nutrition which I feel we can discuss openly so my pets are supported and I would trust the team completely with my animals care. Always leave feeling very happy and like I’ve had a great experience focused on my pets well being.

During lockdown our young cat badly injured his leg and our own vet couldn't fit him in for an appointment for 2 days.Village Vets were very understanding and concerned about him and fitted him in their busy schedule that morning. Everyone we dealt with was polite and friendly and vet explained everything clearly .We had a follow up appointment but as his leg had improved a lot we did this by video appointment which was a first for me but very easy to do. Thank you.

Great service from all at Village Vets Formby on today's visit with my cat & dog. As usual we were seen immediately. The vet had a lovely way with my cat on her free 6 month check-up under the VIP scheme. The vet also dealt with my wary dog in his stride. My dog didn't even realise he was having his annual booster. The reception staff are extremely friendly and on the ball. They always know when pets are due worm, flea & tick treatment under the VIP scheme. I am made to feel like part of the Village Vets family which is a true community focused vet practice. Thank you. xxx

Wonderful kind staff. We had to take our 5 month old puppy to a hastily arranged emergency appointment last night. The vet Cristian was so kind & patient with Eric our puppy who was grumpy & nervous. We were dealt with quickly, kindly & professionally. Gemma who was on the reception desk was as friendly & lovely as always. Her soft spot for Eric is always appreciated. Our dog landed awkwardly and seemed to have hurt herself. We drove immediately to the surgery and triage happened immediately. She was then seen a few minutes later by a vet. Everyone was very helpful. Anti-inflammatories and bedrest were prescribed. All seems well. So relieved.

Just wanted too thank Helen and all the team for there amazing diagnosis and treatment of our cat Bobby. They have always been excellent over the years we have been here but I couldn't of asked for any more. He still has a long way too go too be 100% but now I know everything I need to to get him back too perfect health. We recently brought our lovely 14 year old cat Maisy in as she had been attacked by another cat. Sadly, as she had other underlying issues, we had to make the decision to put her to sleep 💔😢. Our 4 cats have been looked after so well, always with compassion or humour as appropriate. Any ailment has been diagnosed early and successfully treated. We've been taught (with a great deal of patience!) how to administer insulin injections to our diabetic cat, something we never thought we would be able to do. Without Village Vets he would have been in Pussy Heaven years ago. The whole team is fabulous caring and friendly. A definite 5 star recommendation.
