The team at Village Vets have been working hard in a busy independent practice and have also been raising lots of money for charity.

In September we held the 6th annual dog show to raise money for both Cinnamon Trust and Breast Cancer Care. The day was glorious and very busy!We had a pet photographer, red squirrel education, local crafters, pony rides, face painting, raffle, bottle and teddy tombola, music from two local bands and a tea and cake stall along with our local dog display team, West Lancs Dog Display Team who were incredible.

With generous match funding from Lloyds banking group as a part of their helping Britain prosper plan we were able to raise a staggering £2400 split between the two charities. At the end of September our talented team, are also pretty good bakers and £130 was raised for The Macmillan cake sale.

On Sunday 15th October the practice team along with friends and family completed the Scouse 5k- a run through Liverpool city centre complete with scouse wigs of all colours. A raffle of a beautiful gin hamper was running in the practice and a total of £740 was raised for Breast Cancer Care, again with the generosity of Lloyds banking group and match funding.

We want to thank the generosity of the people of Formby and everyone who has donated in any way for making this happen.  Bring on the Santa Dash December 2017!
